Local CDL B Delivery Driver

Bence Michael, a recruiting agency based in Central Florida, is hiring a Local CDL B Delivery Driver for a full-time role with one of our distribution center clients in Ocala! If you have a valid CDL B license, delivery experience, and a strong focus on safety and reliability, we want to hear from you!

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a 26-foot automatic refrigerated box truck equipped with a power lift gate and electric pallet jack to make local deliveries according to assigned routes
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
• Assist in the warehouse with tasks such as receiving, stocking, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as stand up forklifts and electric rider pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a CDL B driver, preferably in local delivery
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to warehouse operations
• Experience with warehouse duties, such as receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
• Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment, including stand up forklifts and electric rider pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Background check
• Drug screening
