The Maple Station Market is looking for an experienced kitchen Manager who would be running the deli & kitchen part of the market. This person would be directly managing 15 employees throughout the week and ensuring quality standards are met, that food safety is top priority, awesome customer service is provided from everyone and orders are correct and fulfilled quickly. Creativity is a must with weekly specials We have a great team in place for someone who is looking to leave the hectic/late night restaurant environment and work in more of a deli/quick order atmosphere
This position requires 40-45 hours a week. Wednesday & Thursday's Off.
No late night shifts

Pay is dependent on experience.

We try to have a maple theme with A LOT of items in order to show customers all the fun ways to cook and use pure maple syrup
Duties
-Manage employee schedule
-Order ingredients and supplies as needed
-Provide kitchen/cooks support as needed
-ensure prep lists are made, followed and fulfilled
Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Manage kitchen/deli staff to ensure smooth operation
-Manage specials and Toast System
-Coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
-Managing kitchen budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness
-Recruiting, training, and evaluating kitchen staff
-Addressing any issues, complaints or disputes in the kitchen
Experience
- Previous management experience in a kitchen or culinary setting required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
(Must have serve Safe Cert.)
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
*Must be able to multitask both departments (Deli and Kitchen) and work with the store manager. Coffee experience is a plus.
