Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts/Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring the availability of golf cart and mower parts, and supporting our repair operations. The Parts/Service Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, facilitating procurement processes, and providing exceptional service to both internal teams and customers.
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels of parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with team to order parts from OEM suppliers and other vendors.
- Utilize demand planning techniques to forecast inventory needs based on repair schedules and customer orders.
- Assist in the fabrication of custom parts as needed for specific repairs.
- Maintain organized systems for tracking parts usage, orders, and returns.
- Respond to internal requests for parts information and assist technicians in locating necessary components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the parts department.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control.
- Familiarity with OEM parts sourcing and demand planning processes.
- Knowledge of service repair procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with technicians, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems is preferred.
