The Opportunity

As a Team Member (Scooper), you’ll be one of the faces of Ben & Jerry’s in the shop. Every shift, you’ll help create a great guest experience by serving delicious ice cream, keeping the shop running smoothly, and making the atmosphere upbeat and welcoming.

What You'll Do

• Serve ice cream, shakes, and other treats quickly and accurately, keeping quality, portioning, and presentation consistently high.
• Run the register, handle cash and card transactions carefully, and keep lines moving during busy periods.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and fully stocked so each guest has a great experience from open to close.
• Bring positive energy to every shift, collaborating with teammates to handle rushes, catering orders, and special events.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and coworkers.

What Success Looks Like

• Within your first few weeks, you confidently scoop, ring up orders, and answer guest questions with minimal guidance.
• Guests consistently leave happy, with friendly interactions and accurate orders, reflected in compliments and positive feedback.
• Shifts run smoothly because you stay on top of cleaning, restocking, and side work without needing reminders.
• You become a reliable team member others count on to show up on time, help during rushes, and support new hires as they learn the ropes.

What We're Looking For

• A positive, people-first attitude and genuine enjoyment of interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Dependability: you arrive on time, ready to work, and follow through on your responsibilities every shift.
• Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced, sometimes crowded environment, including during busy rush periods.
• Flexible availability, including a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• $18–$23 per hour (minimum wage plus tips)
• Fun, laid-back team environment with room to grow and promotion from within
• Flexible scheduling
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 30 lbs is required
