In this lively role, you'll be the face of Ben & Jerry’s at our many off-premise catering events, serving up delicious ice cream and treats with energy and a smile. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of frozen desserts, managing transactions efficiently using POS systems, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the event
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling
• Assist with food presentation, scooping ice cream or other desserts as needed to enhance guest enjoyment
• Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to keep the service area clean and organized
• Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure seamless service flow
• Support catering setup and breakdown, including arranging tables and assisting with food displays
• Engage with guests positively to foster a welcoming atmosphere and address any special requests or concerns

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age
• Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred, including catering or banquet experience
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper serving techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies
• MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE with an up to date license. Must have their own transportation and be willing to drive up to an hour for events.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests
• Experience in restaurant service, food preparation, or hotel settings is advantageous
• A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in a lively environment

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
