What You'll Do
- Partner with Shop Managers to run day-to-day operations at both the Glastonbury and South Windsor locations, maintaining smooth, efficient shifts.
- Coach, train, and motivate scoopers and shift leads to deliver consistent, high-quality service and uphold shop standards.
- Model standout guest experiences, stepping in to resolve issues with a calm, positive attitude and turning challenges into loyalty-building moments.
- Help drive shop performance goals, including sales, speed of service, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
- Support and participate in community events and in-store promotions that strengthen our local relationships and brand presence.
- Within your first 3–6 months, you are confidently leading shifts at both locations with minimal oversight, keeping operations smooth, on schedule, and aligned with company standards.
- Guest satisfaction scores and feedback reflect warm, consistent service, and you see an increase in repeat visits and positive word of mouth.
- Your teammates view you as a reliable coach and role model who helps them improve their skills, confidence, and performance.
- You are actively preparing for Shop Manager responsibilities by owning key operational tasks and contributing ideas that improve shop performance.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in food service or retail, with comfort leading a team in a guest-facing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay composed and solutions-focused in a fast-paced setting.
- Dependable, positive, and accountable, with a hands-on mindset and willingness to step into any role the shop needs.
- A genuine desire to grow into a larger leadership role and build a long-term career in hospitality or retail management.
- $20–$24 per hour (including tips).
