Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment in our school. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are clean and maintained, providing a high standard of cleanliness that enhances the comfort and safety of students, staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Handle manual tasks including some heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while following proper safety protocols for manual handling.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and staff.
Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces and floor care techniques.
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Pay: From $16.25 per hour
