Bemsco Defense Products Inc. is seeking an energetic, motivated, and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing team.
This is not your typical sales position. You'll work alongside our Business Development team to help grow the company through customer relationships, government contracting, marketing initiatives, quoting opportunities, and industry events.
No two days are the same. One day you may be preparing a proposal for a Department of Defense opportunity, the next you'll be traveling to a trade show, visiting a customer's facility, creating marketing material, or meeting with some of the largest aerospace and defense companies in the world.

What You'll Do
- Prepare quotations for commercial, aerospace, and government customers.
- Review RFQs, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and proposal packages.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Prospect new customers through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, and industry research.
- Travel to customer facilities, trade shows, and industry conferences throughout the United States and occasionally internationally.
- Represent Bemsco professionally at trade shows and networking events.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, promotional materials, and social media content.
- Coordinate customer visits and facility tours.
- Maintain customer information and sales activity within company systems.
- Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality to support quoting activities.
- Support Source Approval Requests (SARs), supplier registrations, and customer onboarding.
- Learn government contracting processes and aerospace industry requirements.
- Assist with special projects and other business development activities as assigned.

- Ability to read technical drawings is a plus but not required.
- Sales, customer service, manufacturing, aerospace, or government contracting experience is preferred but not required.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel throughout the United States and occasional international travel.
Travel may include:
- Customer visits
- Trade shows
- Industry conferences
- Supplier visits
- Business development meetings
Travel typically represents approximately 15–25% of the position.
