Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire leasing lifecycle for LIHTC-designated units, ensuring all processes align with current tax credit regulations and compliance standards.
- Conduct thorough income and asset verifications for prospective residents to determine eligibility for subsidized housing programs.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to government agencies and auditors, maintaining accurate records for annual compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance teams to coordinate unit turnover and ensure timely re-leasing of vacancies.
- Educate applicants and current residents on program requirements, lease terms, and their rights and responsibilities within the affordable housing framework.
- Monitor and update internal databases to reflect real-time occupancy status, rent calculations, and compliance metrics.
- Address and resolve any tenant inquiries or disputes related to tax credit eligibility and lease terms promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) administration and leasing operations.
- Deep understanding of property management principles and the specific regulatory landscape of affordable housing.
- Strong proficiency in leasing software and database management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex compliance documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor suitable for interacting with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compensation is set at $22/hour.
