Transport students to and from school from home our public school to Bemiss Academy. Ensure adherence to safety rules. May assist students in boarding, buckling or exiting. Documenting proper loading and unloading. This position is part time and split shift in the morning and afternoon.
Duties
- Follow safety rules as students board and exit buses or cross streets near bus stops.
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain order among students during trips to ensure safety.
- Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations and pick up from schools.
- Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Prepare and document the number of passengers or trips, times, unload & load checks.
- Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures.
- Keep bus interiors clean for passengers.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations via remind to director.
