Essential Functions:
· Deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele.
· Provide a variety of aircraft services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing, cleaning, and other ground support.
· Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft.
· Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and transport vans.
· Perform building maintenance (interior-sweep, mop, take out garbage, clean oil spots, change lights, clean drains, organize cords/hose, etc.)
· Perform building maintenance (exterior-garbage removal, plow snow, shovel walk ways, mow, rake, trim weeds, etc.)
· Maintain crew cars and maintenance vehicles (fuel, clean, bring in for regular maintenance work, etc.)
· Maintain trucks and tugs (conduct fuel tests, fill, clean, perform maintenance and upkeep)
· Maintain the hangars (handle rollers, lights, cables, frozen doors, broken glass, etc.)
· Collaborate with Fed Ex regarding fueling, deicing, maintaining deicer, preheat, maintaining preheater, etc.
· Perform forklift maintenance and complete forklift trainings.
· Maintain fire exits and complete fire exit trainings.
· Perform airstair maintenance.
· Comply with BASI workplace regulations in accordance with BASI employee handbook.
· Additional responsibilities may include providing shuttle service for passengers/crew as required.
Line Service Technician/Aircraft Fueler Job Qualifications:
· Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
· Must possess a valid state Driver's License.
· Previous experience preferred.
· Must be able to complete required FAA trainings in a timely manner.
· Must be able to work rotating shifts that include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Environment: Frequent working outside will be required in all weather conditions. Indoor shop environment subject to frequent interruptions, changing priorities from time to time.
Physical Demands: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of standard equipment. Reaching overhead, crouching, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, and walking will be required. Clarity of vision at varying distances. Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner. Must meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. All above items with or without accommodation.
