Job Description:
As a Showroom Sales Specialist at Bema Stone LLC, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting clients in selecting the perfect stone materials for their projects, and driving sales in our showroom. You will work closely with both customers and our sales team to ensure an exceptional experience from product selection to purchase.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist showroom visitors with product inquiries.
- Deal directly with showroom customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
- Provide expert knowledge on natural stone materials (granite, marble, quartz, etc.).
- Educate customers on the benefits and features of various stone products.
- Help customers make selections based on their project needs, design preferences, and budget.
- Process customer orders and follow up on any special requests or needs.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner to the customers.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, needs or specifications from the customer.
- Maintain the showroom’s organization, cleanliness, and product displays.
- Develop relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to overall showroom growth.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive pricing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or showroom environments, preferably in the stone, tile, or construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand client needs and offer solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for design and home improvement is a plus.
