What are the responsibilities and job description for the 26-27 Crossing Guard position at Belvidere Elementary?
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to perform duties within assigned time frames
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal
SUPERVISES:
No supervision of other personnel
JOB GOAL:
Assure safety of students in route to school or home
CROSSING GUARD 1.5 hours/day (8:30-9:15 am and 3:30-4:15 pm
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that each student safely crosses the street.
- Positively communicate with students and parents in giving directions.
- All other duties related to job as assigned by the principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 187 days per school year
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy in relation to the evaluation of classified personnel.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
CLEARANCES: Non-Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
Salary : $15 - $19
