Belvedere Veterinary Center is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician with general practice experience to join our team.

Our Hospital
We practice advanced, evidence-based medicine in a supportive environment. Our facility includes:
- 6 exam rooms
- Fully equipped treatment area
- Ultrasound
- Digital radiology
- Handheld digital dental x-ray
- In-house IDEXX analyzers with Sedivue
- VETSCAN IMAGYST
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures
- Obtain patient histories and maintain medical records
- Take patient vitals
- Perform safe animal restraint
- Enter medical notes and charges into software
- Perform venipuncture and collect lab samples
- Run in-house lab work
- Perform ear cytology, skin cytology, and urinalysis
- Perform digital diagnostic imaging
- Prepare and administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
- Prepare prescriptions and review instructions with clients
- Educate and communicate with clients
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
- Provide compassionate patient care
Requirements
- At least 1 year of veterinary assistant/technician experience
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for patient care and client education
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or restrain up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move for 4–10 hour shifts
Schedule
Full-time position with varied shifts:
- 4,6, 8, 10, or hour shifts
- Rotating Saturdays
- Schedule varies week to week

Pay: Starting at $17/hour
Education: High school diploma or equivalent .
