Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their ADL's while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work closely with our entire team to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and have experience in assisted living/healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes to the Med Tech and Nurse.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensure confidentiality of resident information in accordance with facility policies and regulations by the state.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, providing support in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Provide care for residents with specific needs, including dementia care and support for individuals with development disabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure comprehensive care for all residents.
- Uphold safety standards and protocols within the facility, promoting a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a assisted living environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving patient care or caregiving.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
- Knowledge of medical records management and medication administration protocols is beneficial.
