Electrician Journeyman

We are looking a Journeyman Electrician to work in the Boulder Colorado area. We work mostly in Boulder and Longmont.

We are a small electric contractor business with honest relationships and proudly providing quality work for residential and commercial projects.

We are flexible and able to have you work full-time or OT.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems

- Install electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures

- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements

- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing electrical work

- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction projects

Qualifications:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license

- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus

- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
