Responsibilities include heavy equipment operation, heavy truck driving, snow plowing, and related road work.Performs skilled trades work repairing and maintaining streets, culverts, shoulders, and related facilities, operating heavy equipment, performing snow removal and ice control activities, sweeping and patching streets, performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Highway Maintenance Supervisor. Maintenance Worker II: Preferred hiring range $24.61 to $26.88 per hour with a full range of $24.61 to $31.17 per hour. Maintenance Worker III: Preferred hiring range is $29.30 to $32.02 per hour with a full range of $29.30 to $37.12 per hour. Placement depends on factors such as qualifications, internal equity, market conditions, and applicable policy guidelines.
