Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform adjustments of hearing aids and related devices under the supervision of Audiologist/Hearing Care Provider.
- Instruct patients on the proper care, use, and maintenance of hearing aids and assistive devices.
- Manage patient records, including data entry and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Manage the service aspect of hearing devices.
- Serve as the initial warm and welcoming point of contact for patients, whether over the phone or in person.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications in a friendly and professional manner.
- Build and maintain patient relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or audiology setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to handle small devices and tools.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
