Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with any inquiries or requests
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Take reservations and manage incoming phone calls
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Aloha POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host/cashier station
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team member
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and seating arrangements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
