Job Description Summary
Provide administrative support to service department
Essential Job Functions Include:
- Assist Manager in all service-related paper flow and procedures.
- Open service work orders, track the progress of each by posting the related labor hours and sublet charges, review with Manager for accuracy and close them upon completion.
- Prepare and process all service invoices and credit memos in a timely manner and in accordance with policies established by the accounting department.
- Assist Manager on service-related phone calls and scheduling as needed.
- Monitor labor and other charges stored in work-in-process for accuracy, and to ensure the timely closure of completed repairs.
- Monitor and track all campaigns.
- Maintain mechanic information, driving records and monitor electronic logs.
- Track rental returns and coordinate with Manager to ensure timely repairs.
- Run the WIP report once a week to review with Manager.
Education
HS Diploma or GED
Experience
1 or more years of experience in service and equipment industry, preferably with heavy equipment
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Detail oriented with ability to multitask with frequent interruptions
- Communicate professionally and effectively within organization and with customers
Compensation and Benefits
- This position offers a pay range of $28 - $34 hourly depending upon experience
