You’ll work closely with your Business Unit Leader (BUL), Inside Sales, and cross-functional teams to build a strategic pipeline, expand market penetration, and exceed growth objectives.This is a consultative, hands-on sales role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, understands industrial customers, and enjoys turning challenges into long-term partnerships.Pay Range: $80,000What you'll doBuild, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and profitable growthServe as the primary point of contact for National, OEM, and Regional Accounts, managing communication and project coordinationDrive revenue by promoting and selling Belt Power solutions through a relationship-based, consultative sales approachProactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within your territoryDevelop and manage a strong sales pipeline to support consistent growthMeet or exceed territory growth goals and assigned KPIsCollaborate with adjacent Territory Managers, Inside Sales, suppliers, and manufacturers on joint calls and opportunitiesSupport successful shop participation and product/service implementation by working cross-functionallyParticipate in trade shows, conventions, and networking events to generate leads and strengthen market presenceTrack sales activity, analyze reports, and provide timely updates on pipeline and performanceProvide customer feedback and market insights to leadership regarding trends, competition, and new opportunitiesDemonstrate products and assist customers in selecting the best solutions for their operationsMaintain a structured call plan to ensure proactive and consistent customer engagementRepresent Belt Power professionally at all times and uphold company culture and safety standardsWear required PPE and follow all safety regulationsRequirements:What you bringPrevious outside sales experience in industrial distribution (preferred)Experience with conveyors and/or automation (preferred)Working knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systemsStrong Microsoft Office skillsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel, including overnight staysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to work overtime or weekends as business needs requireMust pass a drug screen and background checkWhat sets you apartQuick learner with a passion for mastering new products, systems, and processesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectivelyStrong communicator—confident both in writing and in front of customersTeam-oriented, collaborative, and proactiveOperates with integrity, urgency, and a customer-first mindsetClear understanding of the outside sales process and how to win in the fieldPhysical & Work EnvironmentThis role involves working in offices, shops, and customer sites and may include exposure to moving machinery and loud environments.
