What You'll Do
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive retention and revenue growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for assigned accounts.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions and support customer success.
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while achieving territory growth goals.
- Partner with Account Managers, operations teams, and leadership to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent Belt Power at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
- Provide valuable market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
- Stay current on industry trends, product applications, and emerging opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy in quotations, contracts, and order processing.
What We're Looking For
- Outside sales experience, preferably within industrial distribution.
- Experience with conveyors, automation, or related industrial equipment is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening requirements.
- Proven success growing a sales territory and exceeding objectives.
- Understanding of industrial distribution markets.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and long-term customer relationships.
