- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks.
- Safely operate specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers to transport materials across construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction standards to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and setting up work zones.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any operational concerns or incidents.
- Proven construction site experience with heavy equipment operation in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery including Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other brands.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience operating large vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks.
- Hands-on experience operating various machinery: dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, crane, water truck, roll-off truck, farm machinery or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to heavy equipment operation on construction sites.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
