What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Part-Time position at BelRed Dentist?
We have an immediate opening for a friendly, energetic Registered Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team. This position is strictly Part-Time (12–24 hours per week) or On-Call, making it a perfect fit for clinical flexibility and great work life balance.
Requirements:
- Must have prior Dental Assisting Experience or have successfully completed a Dental Assisting Training program.
- Prefer candidates with professional chairside experience, but we will happily consider and mentor motivated new graduates!
- Comfortable fabricating temporary crowns, placing rubber dams, taking alginate impressions, and highly skilled in assisting general dentistry procedures.
- Must have excellent communication skills, a reliable work ethic, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
- Active Washington State Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensure is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures by providing seamless chairside support.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to aid in efficient patient care.
- Use aseptic techniques and rigorous infection control to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively, warmly, and clearly with patients and office team members.
- Perform all general dentistry tasks under the legal supervision of the licensed dentist.
Compensation & Wage Scale:
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 – $35.00 per hour
- Starting hourly pay rate is determined based directly upon the candidate's clinical chairside experience, and technical skill level
