Pet Beloved Grooming Studio is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team in San Diego, CA 92115.
We are a busy and growing grooming studio looking for a groomer who is professional, reliable, team-oriented, and committed to quality grooming and pet safety. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while still providing excellent care for every pet.

Pay
$26.00 – $35.00 per hour
Pay may vary based on experience, skill level, speed, and ability to complete full grooms independently.

Responsibilities
- Perform full-service grooming for dogs, including bathing, brushing, blow-drying, haircuts, and finishing work according to customer requests and breed standards when applicable
- Groom cats if experienced and comfortable
- Assess coat and skin condition and report concerns such as matting, skin irritation, fleas/ticks, ear issues, or signs of stress
- Safely and humanely handle pets throughout the grooming process
- Perform dematting, deshedding, sanitary trims, paw pad trims, face trims, and other grooming services as needed
- Trim nails and provide other basic grooming services according to company policy
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, tools, tubs, and equipment after each service
- Keep accurate grooming notes and communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Support daily shop operations as needed in a busy work environment
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional pet grooming experience required
- Must be able to complete full grooms independently from start to finish
- Strong scissoring, clipper, finishing, and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced grooming environment
- Ability to lift and handle pets up to 30 pounds
- Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and safe handling techniques
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Cat grooming experience is a plus
