Caregiver Role Overview
As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide personalized support to seniors living within our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, patient, caring, and enjoys interacting with older adults.
- Personal Assistance: Provide hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to assigned senior residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Socialization and Community Engagement: Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and happiness.
- Care Documentation: Document care and services provided daily, following customized service plans and communicating any observed changes in care needs to the supervisor.
- Clinical Standards: Ensure that care, safety, and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory requirements.
- Communication Skills: Clearly communicate with residents, colleagues, and supervisors in verbal and written English.
- Experience and Qualifications: Possess at least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing community; ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
