SCHEDULE: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Staffing Coordinator at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be responsible for using employee scheduling software to schedule staff in a 24-hour operation, coordinate time off requests, track overtime, create daily assignment sheets, schedule breaks and track attendance. This position supports the Director of Resident Care Services with resident files and clerical duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate 24 hour work schedules including coverage for call offs and approved time off requests using On Shift scheduling software
- Effectively manage staffing schedules to fairly distribute work hours, keep overtime to a minimum and minimize contract labor hours
- Coordinate new hire training and support new employee orientation process
- Data entry and administrative clerical support related to department supplies, payroll, time & attendance in Kronos.
- Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated employee scheduing experience in a 24-hour operation
- Must be comfortable learning and adapting to new software tools and platforms as required
- Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Capable of responsibly handling confidential information
- Demonstrates initiative and reliable critical thinking skills
- Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
- Must be able to effective use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
