Your Typical Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning of the community common areas to ensure compliance with Belmont Village cleanliness standards
- Ensure common area restrooms and laundry rooms are adequately supplied with toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, and other items as necessary
- Pick up and properly dispose of exterior trash, remove waste, replace trash can liners
- Communicates respectfully and professionally with residents and guests
- Uses sound judgement when responding to visitors arriving after stated visiting hours
- Make hourly rounds to confirm the community’s exterior doors, and other points of entry into the community are locked
- Report unusual occurrences, suspicious situations or persons to the Manager on Duty and take appropriate action as deemed necessary by community protocol
- Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Housekeeper, Janitor or Porter
- Ability to organize and prioritize work independently and efficiently
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Ability to work early morning, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
- All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.
