Summary Of Duties
- Under the supervision of the Senior Executive Director, Implements and maintains the dementia program to Belmont’s standards, policies, and procedures regarding the neighborhood.
- Works collaboratively with Learning Coordinator to develop monthly activity calendars for the dementia neighborhood using the current residents life stories.
- Ensures adequate staffing through staff scheduling.
- Actively participates in accident, injury and illness prevention activities.
- Actively communicates health and safety information to employees and facilitate their involvement in health and safety activities and participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities.
- Participates in family events and promote partnership with family.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of activity supplies through using weekly checklists.
- Facilitate activities utilizing the typical day structure.
- Completes health and safety audits finding closure within 30 days.
Experience requirements: 2 years of experience in any occupation working with memory care/dementia residents

Must have work experience in:
- Health and safety issues with residents
- Accident and injury prevention with residents
- Dementia resident activity facilitation
- Working and supporting a 24/7 community operation
- Managing a team including staffing, scheduling, recruiting, budgets and performance management
