ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you’ll help shape a vibrant, hospitality-driven environment where seniors thrive—and where team members grow, learn, and feel valued every day. As a Server you will follow dining room service etiquette for an assigned group of tables and assist with special events in our Independent and Assisted Living community. The ideal Dining Room Server candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and takes pride in anticipating guests needs. Belmont Village Dining Room Servers excel in a fast-paced, personally engaging role and prioritize exceptional hospitality while helping seniors thrive as they age.
YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
