Out-pt/sport Physical Therapist Assistant (CA license required)
We are a boutique, therapist-owned, outpatient physical therapy based in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach California. Currently seeking a full-time/Part-time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Life-long learning and evidence-based practice is valued. The qualified applicant must have a current California license and CPR certification. In addition, the applicant should be organized, have ortho/out patient PT setting experience, reliable, responsible and demonstrate excellent verbal and writing abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each patient and apply treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames which implemented by a Physical Therapist
- Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals
- Follow team work and professional ethic for patient's safety and improvements
Salary: Competitive and will be dependent on the applicant’s experience (Average pay $30-$37/hr)
Qualifications: Manual therapy skills, Orthopedic/Sports, geriatrics
Preferred: Six to nine months of experience is desired but not required. Recent grads are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
