TITLE: Housing Inspector
REPORTS TO: Housing Programs Manager
GRADE: 3 ($39-$47K Annually) Full Time, 35 hours per week
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Ensures that housing assisted through the Section 8 Programs is decent, safe, and sanitary, and in compliance with federal housing quality standards.
SUPERVISORY: None
EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree, or associates degree in a related field with two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS: Ability to work independently and manage time, and organize workflow. Interpersonal, listening, organizational, and computing skills. Must be sensitive to peoples difficulties and capable of responding to clients in a non-judgmental manner.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license are required.
