Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand powered equipment and occasionally perform work involving large equipment such as tractors, loaders and mowers. Each groundkeeper may be assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of several designated holes on the golf course and does related work as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate mowers and string trimmers on all areas of the golf course and clubhouse lawns.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Maintain fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis. Report equipment problems or failure to the Golf Course Superintendent.
- Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility clean and ready for use.
- Assist in the design and installation of new greens, tees, fairways and bunkers.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools used in landscaping is essential.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, including irrigation techniques and garden maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
