Position Description: Assistant Principal
Location: Roanoke Rapids Graded School District
Position Type: Licensed
Reports To: Principal
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in School Administration;
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a NC License in the area of School Administrator (License Area 012);
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Possess the skills to enhance student achievement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This individual will assist the principal in providing leadership in developing and implementing the total school program. Individual must be able to perform all duties as prescribed by the statutes governing North Carolina public schools, local board policies, and the Superintendent.
