Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist in promoting good oral health practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Perform dental charting and take X-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Conduct patient screenings and assessments
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems
- Assist in the management of dental emergencies
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software for medical documentation
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, and dental assisting techniques
