Position Summary
Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the current position of Student Accounts Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this part-time, twelve-month position will report to the AVP of Student Financial Services and works directly with a diverse student population to answer questions and solve problems via telephone calls, e-mails and face-to-face contact. The candidate will also assist the student accounts staff in the completion of daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of academic, office or customer service experience and possess strong oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude through a display of courtesy, congeniality, cooperation, sensitivity, and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required along with strong data entry skills. Knowledge of PowerCampus and Powerfaids is a plus. The work environment is an office setting which requires no strenuous physical activity.
