What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parasail Boat Mate position at Belmar Parasail?
Seeking a part-time mate to work this summer on a parasail boat in Belmar. Have fun at work every day, enjoy working outside and spend many hours each day on the water. We are looking for self-motivated, reliable, and quick-thinking individuals who are excited to be at work and are friendly to talk to customers on the boat. Boat experience is not required, but is a plus! Being relatively local to Belmar is also a plus!
*We are looking for someone who will be able to work through Labor Day weekend.
You will be responsible for:
- Launching parachutes.
- Assisting customers with fitting harnesses and life jackets.
- Assist customers with boarding and disembarking the boat.
- Manage equipment and maintain the cleanliness of the boat.
- Informing customers on what they need to do to make every trip a fun and safe experience.
- Shoot photo packages and receive compensation for photo packages.
- Mate will be required to be enrolled in random drug testing.
