What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Packers (Plastic Department) position at Belmar Integrated Logistics?
Full-time Position-Plastic Department
Schedule:
Team A: 4:40am-6pm
Team B: 5:40pm-6am
Team C: 5:40am-6pm
Team D: 5:40pm-6am
Payrate: $14/hourly-$15/hourly Health Benefits Referral Bonus
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Packer Load/ Unload materials
- Operate packing sealer and perform random check on the products before going to the sealer
- Clean and prepare containers/boxes for packing
- Load, stack, pile and pack finished goods following a specific set of instructions
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in specific area as instructed.
- Move completed products for inventory count
- Fill out the production log sheet (i.e., inventory, production count and/or lot #, etc.
- Must be able to work weekends if needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
Physical Demands of Job:
- Candidates must be able to lift 30 pounds, occasionally lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent reaching with intermittent reaching overhead
- Standing for extended periods of time to perform various duties
- Walking for extended periods of time to perform various duties
- Frequent squatting and/or bending to perform various duties as assigned
