Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients and waste
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or supervisors
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to keep the dining area clean and inviting
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Contribute to banquet setups, ensuring all food presentation meets quality standards and guest expectations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest services and ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Background in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality enhances your candidacy
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous
