What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Analyst Contract position at Bellwether Staffing Solutions?
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable/Cash Analyst in White Plains, NY / Purchase, NY area. This is a 6-9 month contract position (hybrid schedule in-office 3 days). The ideal candidate will have 1 years of experience with Accounts Receivable, applying cash with strong excel skills. Mon - Fri standard business hours = 40 hours per week. Pay rate $28.00-$35.00 hourly.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely and accurate application of cash receipts to the receivable.
- Supports the Query Management process to ensure timely follow up and resolution of queries.
- Support development, maintenance and distribution of concise and accurate reporting of balances.
- Troubleshoot data reconciliation and variance issues with internal departments as well as with the Broker’s Accounts Payable team to resolve unallocated cash issues.
- Strong Analytical ability, and detail oriented with the ability to work on high volume of daily transactions.
- Develop strong relationships with our internal Underwriting Units to ensure quality service.
- Provide Information for all EY Audit Requests, premium confirmation letters and support for all requested balances.
- Support the bank reconciliation process and intercompany transfer process.
- Ad-hoc project requests as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 years of Accounts Receivable and Cash Accounting experience in commercial collections
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP/CD a plus, strong Excel Skills Required (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures, internal and external reporting and variance analysis. Insurance industry experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented, organized, and strong problem solver with Analytical abilities and have a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
