About Us
BellVue Health PLLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supervision and support to adults living in a 24-hour supervised group home. Max DSP to client ratio is 1:3. Our home serve individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and some co-occurring Mental Health diagnoses.
DSPs play a critical role in supporting residents with daily living skills, safety, independence, and community integration.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Every other weekend 12-hr shifts Day 7am & Night 7pm
Direct Support Professional (DSP) will provide supervision, care, and habilitation or rehabilitation services in a group home setting. DSPs support individuals in developing self-help and independent living skills, gaining work or vocational experience, and actively participating in community activities and outings. Services focus on support, supervision, safety, and community living, while promoting independence, dignity, and choice. DSPs assist with daily living needs, meal preparation, medication administration, and transportation, follow individualized support plans, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring a safe, structured, and respectful living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision in a 24/7 residential setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs
- Support and supervise community outings and activities
- Medication administration and management in accordance with training and agency policy
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured environment
- Follow behavior support, crisis, and de-escalation procedures
- Complete required documentation and shift reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Accompany to medical appointments - Company Vehicle provided
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid NC Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background check, and obtain TB test
- CPR/First Aid and NCI
- Experience working with individuals with I/DD, TBI, or MH
- Ability to administer medications with training provided
- Must be able to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations
- Must be able to follow instructions
