Warehouse and Inventory Associate

The ideal candidate for this role should have a commitment to getting tasks completed and a hands-on approach to work. This role is well-suited for people with leadership capabilities, excellent organization skills, and a keen attention to detail. This position is the point of reference for all things warehouse related and communicates on a regular basis with leads from other departments. Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving and Storing

Unload trucks:

Safely take incoming goods off delivery vehicles.

Inspect items:

Check for damage, defects, or missing parts.

Receive and count inventory items and record data manually, using a computer.

Oversees all paperwork and computer documentation relating to shipping and receiving.

If there are any issues with a delivery, the warehouse will communicate to resolve the problem.

Stock shelves:

Put products away in correct, organized locations.

Pack and unpack items to be stocked in warehouse/store.

Stock the sales floor and warehouse with inventory received.

• Order Fulfillment

Pick orders:

Gather items from pick list, ensuring accuracy, to load up for customers.

Work with the sales team and install team to gather parts for upcoming installs.

Pack and label:

Wrap goods securely and add correct shipping labels.

• Inventory and Safety

Count stock:

Help track inventory levels and report any lost items.

Perform cycle counts.

Use equipment:

Drive forklifts or use pallet jacks safely.

Clean space:

Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse are kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved and work procedures need to be created.

Maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

• On time arrival and good attendance
• Ability to perform a variety of general labor tasks including repeated lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Cooperate and coordinate with employees and suppliers
• Any and all duties/assignments requested by management or other related duties as assigned
• Previous experience in dealing with aging inventory is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Assist coworkers when necessary - be polite and helpful to ensure a smooth warehouse operation
• Previous Forklift experience
• Ability to work in a warehouse that is not climate controlled
• 40 hours per week and rotating Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
