Wood Crate Builder

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Wood Crate Builder to join our Shipping Department. We need to protect our materials while being shipped to our vendors and customers. The ideal candidate for this position will possess the skill level to be able to jump in and start with little direction, and be able to keep up in our fast paced environment.

Requirements:

• Ideally have a carpentry background; can read a tape measure and has a strong knowledge of power tools.
• Must be able to work independently, building wood crates that house our finished architectural metal products to the customer’s specifications.
• The ideal candidate will be energetic, dependable, have a great work ethic and ability to work at a fast pace.
• Steel-toe boots are mandatory.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for long periods of time, use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, lifting metal products, and bending. Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.

Job Type:
This is a full-time position, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays. We offer great benefits where there is a lot of team support and a fun work atmosphere.
