Bellows Falls Union High School is seeking a full-time math teacher to join our community and dynamic math department. This position includes teaching several high school classes and the potential to support intervention needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Teaching responsibilities will vary though will likely include Pre Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and/or Financial Literacy. Intervention support, where needed, will focus on providing individual and small group instruction based on student need and work in collaboration with others in the department. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and instructional practices and demonstrated experience working with neurodiverse learners in a classroom setting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor degree and has a current, or is eligible for, a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement. Prior experience in teaching mathematics is preferred, particularly at the secondary level.
