Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for a hotel with 164 rooms. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness of our hotel commercial establishments. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor care as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, including training new staff members.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel or commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
