What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Dental Office Receptionist position at Bellingham Family Dentistry?
Part-time dental receptionist position available in a top-notch practice located in the Meridian Dental Building in Bellingham.
We are seeking a positive, mature, motivated professional team player with excellent communication skills. We are looking for a star to join our existing super-star team! Background in dentistry is preferred.
Our team is committed to excellence in both dentistry and patient care. We believe it is important to establish a relationship with each patient built on kindness, respect, and trust.
Job duties include:
- Greet and check patients in when they arrive
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling patients (managing the schedule)
- Data entry into practice software
- Collecting payment for services
- Contacting insurance companies
- Coordinating referrals to specialists
- Scanning documents
- Computer data entry into digital patient charts
- General administrative assistance and support for the dental practice
We are currently hiring for two days per week (20 hours), with additional fill-in opportunities.
The ideal candidate is flexible with their schedule to accommodate coverage as needed.
