Substitute Teacher 2025-2026 School Year

Under the supervision of the principal, the substitute teacher will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students' education continues in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires flexibility, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to follow lesson plans. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Management: Maintain a respectful, well-organized, and safe classroom environment for students. Instruction: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in accordance with the school's curriculum. Ensure that students remain engaged and participate in the lesson. Supervision: Oversee students during non-instructional periods, including recess and lunch, if necessary. Communication: Provide clear instructions to students and communicate effectively with school staff and administration regarding student progress or concerns. Classroom Materials: Ensure that all classroom materials are used appropriately and return materials to their proper place at the end of the day. Behavior Management: Enforce classroom rules and resolve issues in a positive and productive manner. Report any behavioral or academic issues to the appropriate school staff. Record Keeping: Complete attendance and any other required reports. High school diploma Bachelor’s degree 30 day Substitute permit 2 or 3 Letters of Recommendation with in the last 12 months Resume
