Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
