What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I Special Education Life Skills Paraprofessional (BL) position at Bellevue Public Schools?
Applications are being accepted for a 7 hour per day Special Education Life Skills Paraprofessional position at Belleaire Elementary School. Duties include working with students in small groups and individually under the direction of the teacher. Candidate must be able to lift, give physical assistance when necessary; assist in lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and in recreational activities. The state of Nebraska requires applicants to have 2 years of college completed. If you do not have this, you can talk to the Principal and other options can be discussed. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
