What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Library Paraprofessional (FC/LM) position at Bellevue Public Schools?
Applications are being accepted for a 6.5 hour per day Library Paraprofessional position at Fort Crook Elementary and LeMay Elementary. Duties include assisting in maintaining current collection of books and materials in the library, and working with the classroom teachers and students individually and in small groups. The candidate must be flexible and willing to accommodate requests from students and teachers. The applicant should possess excellent organizational, spelling, proofreading and typing skills. The desired candidate must have knowledge of computers, possess teamwork and people skills; experience working in a school library preferred. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This is a traveling position between Fort Crook Elementary and LeMay Elementary schools. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
